May 2, 2022 This week in literacy, we will… Learn that a noun names a person, place, thing, or idea. Learn that proper nouns name specific people, places, and things. Proper nouns are always capitalized Learn that the vowel combination -igh has the long i sound, as in high and night Read a book titled, Animal Surprises, by Nicole Walker.
